The vast majority of deliveries from Jamtech Communications require a signature. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that someone is available to sign for the consignment at the address to which the purchased goods are sent. For credit & debit card payments, the delivery address must match the billing address of your payment card, unless the delivery address is to a registered UK business.

We regret that we cannot ship to an alternative residential address. We cannot modify the delivery instructions to our couriers or to Royal Mail once the consignment has left our warehouse. Delivery charges are calculated automatically, at Checkout, and are based on the weight of the items purchased, the value of the order, the destination area and where available, Saturday, Next Business Day and premium timed delivery services.

Next Business Day delivery


Where offered, Next Business Day Delivery is only possible if:

  • The item(s) purchased are in stock on the day of purchase, and
  • The order is placed prior to 15:00 on day of despatch, and
  • Delivery is to a UK Mainland address only

If you select a Next Business Day delivery service and it is not possible to despatch as such on the day of ordering (eg. weekends/Bank Holidays) then your goods will be despatched on the next business day on the requested Next Day service.

Next Business Day delivery services are not guaranteed. Every effort to deliver your goods will be made but circumstances beyond our control may prevent delivery. Delivery attempts made where the consignee is not available to sign for the consignment are not classed as a failed delivery.

For the avoidance of doubt, Saturday and Sunday are not classed as delivery days on a Next Business Day delivery service. Orders placed on a Friday for next day delivery will be delivered to you on Monday.

Next Business Day delivery services are only available for UK Mainland deliveries, excluding some UK post code areas. Outlying areas such as the Scottish Highlands & Islands, along with some UK Mainland postcode areas will incur additional rates and are usually a 24-48 hour service, please check with us prior to ordering if you are unsure.

Saturday Delivery
Must be requested prior to 15:00 on a Friday (in stock products only). All orders requiring a Saturday delivery will be despatched on a Friday regardless of day of ordering.

 

European Delivery
We do not deliver to non UK addresses.

 

Special Orders
Items marked with this symbol are not part of our normal stock. These items are acquired by us directly from the manufacturer only when a customer places an order. We cannot accept Contract Cancellation returns of these items since these items are classified as having been “made to the consumers’ specifications”.

Our Couriers
Our current preferred couriers are UK Mail and Parcelforce, however, some items may be shipped using other courier services.

Packages sent by Royal Mail’s Recorded or Special Delivery services have a unique Tracking Number which will be sent to you by email. These packages MUST be signed for at the destination address. Items sent by Special Delivery are due to arrive by 1pm on the day after despatch in most of the UK (see Royal Mail for exact details of their coverage area).

Packages that fail to be delivered (no-one available to sign) are held at your local Sorting Office. A note will be left at your address by the postman. It is the responsibility of the addressee to arrange for collection from the Sorting Office. Packages sent using our other couriers have a unique Tracking Number which will be sent to you by email (where available). Delivery can take place anytime between 09:00 and 20:00.

Please note: These packages must be signed for at the destination address. Our couriers will make every effort to deliver your package, including leaving packages with your neighbours if possible (and collecting their signature as proof of delivery). Packages that fail to be delivered (no-one available to sign) are held at your local courier depot. A note will be left at your address by the courier. It is the responsibility of the addressee to arrange for collection from the depot. Many depots are open until 8:00pm on weekdays.

It is not possible to modify the delivery address after a consignment has left our warehouse. Please ensure that your parcel can be signed for at your indicated delivery address.

Please note, for unusually large or heavy goods, (ie large laser printers or LCD TV’s, etc), an extra delivery surchage may be applied. You will be telephoned by one of our representatives prior to your order being dispatched to advise you of any necessary delivery revisions.
